CT Properties Southcoast is a collaboration of Cathy and Tom’s shared experience in construction, design, project management and finance. In 2005 the passing of Cathy’s grandfather left her with his home of many years. The quality of construction along with sentimental value encouraged her to revive the house and give it the TLC it had been lacking for so long. With her creative ability and Tom’s ability to turn concepts into reality, the match was made and the future began. The goal is to always bring a house to its full potential by sometimes undoing what has previously been done and going as far as recreating original moldings to return it to its character and make it a home again.
They encourage every home to rediscover its roots and also help it embrace the contemporary needs of today’s generation through a love of craftsmanship and home revival. Their passion goes beyond reviving homes and includes furniture and abandoned items. Every project seems to provide an element that they get to take with them and revitalize, reuse or re-purpose; everything from turning doors into tables, floorboards that become picture frames and old work benches that are refinished to find new life.
CT Properties Southcoast also supports and volunteers with Be the Solution to Pollution conducting cleanups and raising awareness of the impact litter has on the environment and waterways.
