This ranch is actually a “Lewis Liberty” kit house known as the Brighton; oddly turned 90 degrees on the lot.
We have the original Lewis Liberty Architectural Plans for this house and the visible lumber is marked to
coordinate with assembly instructions. The home was built in 1950 and has interior walls of Rock Lath on
today’s familiar conventional framing style. In keeping with bringing the home to today’s potential, the interior
arches were removed to create a more open floor plan. A front porch was added as well as French doors to the
added deck and a cathedral kitchen ceiling. Since its construction, the large 2-1/2 car garage had a dirt floor;
the new concrete floor was first on the list of things to do. Click photos below to learn more about this home.
